Tropical Sauce

This is a quick, easy sauce that works great for desserts, or over fruit or squash. (It’s especially good drizzled over our Piña Colada Bread Pudding.) What a tasty way to incorporate green tea in your cooking! ~ Alan

Tropical Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Tropical Sunshine or Caribbean Sunset brewed tea
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbls corn starch

Instructions

  1. Brew tea as directed, then combine with sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until dissolved.
  2. Use a small bit of liquid mixture to moisten the corn starch in a custard dish before adding it back into the saucepan. Stir until thickened.
