This is a quick, easy sauce that works great for desserts, or over fruit or squash. (It’s especially good drizzled over our Piña Colada Bread Pudding.) What a tasty way to incorporate green tea in your cooking! ~ Alan
Tropical Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup Tropical Sunshine or Caribbean Sunset brewed tea
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 Tbls corn starch
Instructions

Brew tea as directed, then combine with sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until dissolved.

Use a small bit of liquid mixture to moisten the corn starch in a custard dish before adding it back into the saucepan. Stir until thickened.
