Chocolate Pasta
Ingredients
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1/4 cup Cocoa powder not Dutch process
- 3 cups Chocolate Spice Chai brewed tea
- 1/2 Tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
-
										Brew tea and set aside.
-
Combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder and a dash of salt in a large mixing bowl. Make a well in the center.
-
Beat eggs and oil, then pour into the well.
-
Use your hands to combine ingredients together. Add a teaspoon of Chocolate Spice Chai brewed tea at a time until the dough is workable.
-
Pull it out of the bowl and place on a sheet of lightly floured parchment paper on a table or counter. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes, sprinkling with flour as necessary.
-
Wrap dough in plastic wrap and place in fridge for 20 minutes.
-
Take 1/3 of the chilled dough and roll into a rectangle about 1/8” thick. Cut into 1/4” wide strips with a pizza cutter (or use a pasta maker if you have one). Lightly coat with flour to prevent sticking together.
-
Pour remaining brewed tea into a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Add some pasta and cook for about 2 minutes until noodles are tender.
-
Once noodles are plated, top with our Pumpkin Sauce and sprinkle with Feta cheese.
