Ingredients

  • 1/2 oz Semi-sweet baking chocolate
  • 1/3 cup Balsamic vinegar (pre-infused with loose tea)
  • 3 tsp Berry Chocolate Infatuation loose tea
  • 1 cup Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp Sugar

Instructions

  1. Pre-infuse Berry Chocolate Infatuation loose tea in vinegar overnight, then strain.

  2. Heat chocolate for about 25-40 seconds in the microwave at half-power, just until melted. Stir, then add a few tablespoons of the oil and stir well to incorporate the chocolate.

  3. In a bowl or salad dressing shaker, pour the vinegar, chocolate oil, remaining oil, and sugar. Whisk or shake well to blend.

Recipe Notes

Serving Suggestion:

Place spinach leaves on a plate and top with diced pears, pecans, and crumbled cheese. Drizzle with vinaigrette and top with shaved baking chocolate. Makes 6-8 salads.
