Chai Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients
- 1 cup Flour
- 2 tsp. Sugar
- 2 tsp. Baking powder
- 1 tsp. Baking soda
- 3/4 tsp. Xanthan gum
- Dash of salt
- 3/4 cup Vanilla Spice Chai brewed tea
- 2 Tbsp. Oil
- 1 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. Ground cardamom
- 2 Tbsp. Butter melted
Powdered Sugar Drizzle
- 1/3 cup Powdered sugar
- 3/4 tsp. Melted butter
- Vanilla Spice Chai brewed tea
Instructions

Mix together flour, 2 tsp. sugar, baking soda, baking powder, xanthan gum, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add oil and 1/2 cup of Vanilla Spice Chai brewed tea.

Once dough is well-combined, pat or roll into a 1/4” thick rectangle.

Combine 1 Tbsp sugar and spices. Spread dough with 1 Tbsp melted butter, then sprinkle with sugar & spice mix. Carefully roll the dough, starting at the narrow end.

Cut into four pieces and place on pan with rings facing up. Press to flatten slightly. Bake at 350º F for about 12-15 minutes.

Allow to cool slightly, then spread with powdered sugar drizzle (combine powdered sugar and melted butter, then gradually add 1/2 tsp of Vanilla Spice Chai tea at a time until desired consistency). Serves 4.
