You can pick any flavor of tea to make your simple syrup, but the combination of cool mint and tangy hibiscus in Morning in the Mountains makes a fantastic choice!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Morning in the Mountains brewed tea (or your favorite flavor)
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • Club soda

Instructions

To make simple syrup:

  1. Brew Morning in the Mountains tea (using a tea filter or infuser) for 5 minutes.

  2. Heat tea and sugar to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.

  3. Allow to cool, then use this mixture just like you would any simple syrup to make drinks of your choice.

  4. Syrup can be stored covered in the fridge for about a week.

To make the soda:

  1. Pour 1 oz of syrup into glass, then add 8-10 oz. of soda. (Adjust to your taste.)
