Tea & Citrus Granita

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Morning in the Mountains brewed tea
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Make a simple syrup by combining Morning in the Mountains brewed tea and sugar in a saucepan and stirring over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Add the juice and allow mixture to cool for 30 minutes.

  2. At that point, pour it into a freezer-safe pan and freeze for 30 minutes.
  3. Remove and gently scrape with a fork every 20-30 minutes for up to 4 hours, or until it is the proper texture. (See photo slide show.)
  4. Garnish with lemon rind curls if desired. Makes 4-6 servings.
