Gadget Friday: Cookie Dough Scoop

It’s that time of year … cookie time!

And if you’ve ever had to get cookie dough onto a cookie sheet using the two-spoon method (you know … rolling and scraping between the two spoons until the dough falls out), this is the gadget for you. Check out this video, then scroll below to see the tools we recommend.

Let the cookie baking begin!

Here’s what we recommend:

Cookie Dough Scoop (available at Sur La Table)

These clever scoops make cookie baking easy and fun. Simply scoop up the dough, then squeeze the ergonomic handles to release onto your cookie sheet. The scoop comes in three different sizes (small = 2 tsp of dough, medium = 1 1/2 Tbsp, large = 3 Tbsp) to accommodate every size of cookie you want to make.

(Sur La Table also has another stainless steel scoop available in various sizes.)
