Open a small container of heavy whipping cream and add the Berry Chocolate Infatuation loose tea directly to the carton. Place carton in refrigerator overnight. The next day, strain out the tea and set aside.
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cream of tartar, and salt in a large bowl and stir together. Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in the tea-infused heavy cream.
Start by dropping two tablespoonfuls for each shortcake on to a cookie sheet. Continue until all of the mixture is used.
Bake at 400° F for 12-15 minutes.
Serving idea: Use Berry Chocolate Infatuation loose leaf tea and follow our recipe for homemade whipping cream. Enjoy the shortcake with fresh strawberries and the tea-infused whipping cream.
