
Tea-Infused Tahini
Toast seeds in a dry skillet, stirring over medium heat until golden brown (about 5 minutes). Pour seeds onto a plate to cool, at least 10-15 minutes.
Place cooled seeds in a food processor and grind for 2-3 minutes until it forms a coarse paste. Slowly add oil and tea a tablespoon at a time and continue blending. (May need to remove lid and scrape the sides.) Keep mixing until desired consistency is achieved, then add salt to taste.
Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a couple of weeks.
When adding the oil and A Walk in the Woods brewed tea, it may take a little more. Add as needed until you're happy with the end result. While it is traditionally a thin sauce, I like it as more of a paste. ~ Alan
