
Add the sliced pears, then cover pan. Simmer on low heat for 20-40 minutes or until pears are fork tender.
Serve these hot or you can also let cool and store pears in the liquid in a covered dish in the refrigerator. Any extra liquid? Pour into a glass and enjoy.
