Add all ingredients to a stock pot and heat until steaming. Steep tea (using an infuser or tea filter) in the soup for up to 5 minutes, then remove tea.
Add more water or vegetables as you would like. Use the suggested vegetables or add your favorites -- carrots, cabbage, peas, etc. -- just look in your freezer. Continue heating until hot throughout. Serve with a dollop of sour cream and chopped green onions.
